Roof Returns

Roof returns are the small overhangs where the eaves meet the wall of a home. While they add a nice polished look to your roofline, they are also a known weak spot for wildlife entry. Due to the angles and seams of the roof returns, gaps are often left making it easy access for a number of animals.

Once inside, these animals can travel straight to your attic causing costly damage to insulation, wiring and the structure of your home.

At Fortify, we specialize in inspecting these roof returns with experienced operators. We will seal them with durable, long lasting metal flashing to keep critters out for good! All while preserving the polished look of your home.

Did you know?

  • Gutters are often used as a highway straight to the eaves. If there is not a gap, the animals can easily chew through the pliable wooden soffit to make their own hole.
